A 5 week yoga workshop designed for expectant mothers to have a healthier, happier and calmer pregnancy and prepare for child birth. It provides the mother to be with a chance to bond with her child even before birth and prepares her psychologically to dedicate time to her baby.
The workshop will cover:
An introduction to prenatal yoga benefits and ways of practice.
Methods to deal with pregnancy changes physically, mentally and psychologically.
Ways to connect with and accommodate the baby.
Best positions to adopt to increase the chances of natural birth.
Physical and psychological preparation for labor.
Developing a simple daily home practice.
When and how to start a postnatal practice.
To start the workshop expectant mothers should be in the second or third trimester. You should always ask your personal physician beforehand.
Prenatal Yoga Benefits:
Prenatal yoga as a daily practice in the life of an expecting mother creates a sense of dedication to the health and wellbeing of the baby and also to her own.
Early on, the mother-to-be connects and commits to the growing life inside her by dedicating some of her time to the unborn child. As the expecting mother faces emotional, mental and physical changes, she could often be challenged by them. A Yoga practice would help her become aware of those changes, accept them and adapt to them within an environment of acceptance and people who are sharing a similar experience.
A consistent prenatal yoga practice helps achieve a healthy, relaxed and happy pregnancy and labor.
Workshop will be carried over 5 sessions of 60 minutes.
The workshop fees are 650EGP.
