True self: A kundalini yoga workshop (2 days)

This Kundalini Yoga workshop is a ‘mini urban yoga retreat’ where we will be practicing Kundalini Yoga and Meditation for two consecutive mornings on two occasions.
We will explore personal history and experiences to release the emotional and experiential stress that these histories can have created within us. The practice can facilitate a complete body and mind regeneration and relaxation and even more, start a journey to the self leaving behind the weight of past traumatic experiences and being more present in the now.
This is the 5th time that Oscar has held these fantastic workshops at Osana and through the experience he has developed a very sensitive and personal approach to the event.
There will be no prerequisite requirements for those attending other than an open mind and an adventurous spirit!
We expect everyone to leave these sessions feeling amazing: calm, peaceful, open and strong.
Oscar says “I like to think about these workshops as ‘retreats’ because they are just that! We leave our normal, everyday life behind for 6 hours and enrich ourselves with an exotic, earthy adventure. I would describe our Yoga sessions as vigorously spiritual and totally renewing in every way. My personal mission is to see to it that you have an amazing ‘trip’!
All true wellness and health comes from a calm and peaceful mind. A calm and peaceful mind is:
– Less dominated by habits and addictive behavior.
– Less reactive to outer situations (less stressed).
– More centered and objective.
– More accepting of life and its fluctuations.
– More in tune with the body breath, feelings and intuition.
So the poses naturally need to be infused with a purpose and meaning which brings insight and energy to an otherwise mundane physical practice of poses. In this way, the poses become asana or ‘meditation in motion’. As we excel in this practice, our yoga begins to transcend the room and permeates our life. In other words, a strong physical practice needs to be grounded in a strong mental practice.
Two mornings sessions of 2 hours of yoga, mediation and a gong soundbath each day followed by a great and well deserved OsanaBrunch, time to chat and exchange experiences with lovely food and company or just be by yourself enjoying the silence and the space.

Advance registration and 50% deposit (900LE) required to secure your places.
All deposits are non-refundable within one week of the start date of the course… earlier than one week we will refund 80% of the deposit but retain a 20% administration fee.
