Basics of Flow Workshop

*This workshop is open to everyone, from beginners to seasoned practitioners and is definitely not only for those that practice Ashtanga but various other style of yoga.*
About: The word ‘flow’ is thrown around a lot in the yoga world, representing the movement that happens when postures are combined. But a lot goes into what ‘flow’ actually entails and this workshop aims to discuss the basics of that. We will look at what happens when we intentionally bring together the breath, movement and our eyesight for a more balanced, concentrated approach to the act of ‘flowing’ as a whole. We will breakdown the subtle aspects we easily overlook in an effort to build stability and efficiency which are key in maintaining ‘flow’ and a regular yoga practice in general.
– An introduction to breath work through meditation
– Brief exercises covering technique
– Extended, slow-flowing led class including posture breakdowns, modifications, space for exploration
– Brief break
Date: Friday July the 14th 2017
Time: 1:00pm – 3:30pm (2.5 hours)
Advance registration and 50% deposit (125 EGP) required to secure your places.
All deposits are non-refundable within one week of the start date of the course… earlier than one week we will refund 80% of the deposit but retain a 20% administration fee.
