‘Yoga 101: Beginners only’ with Ahmed Osman

Are you new to yoga ? Not sure where to start?
Do you feel inspired to learn some of the foundational knowledge about yoga and the yogic way of life?

If so, this Yoga 101 experience is for you!
This 4 week course will introduce you to the fundamentals of Yoga, Yoga philosophy, the energetic and spiritual aspects of yoga and will allow you to develop your own personal home practice.

Yoga is an advanced science that uses postures, breathing techniques, chanting, gestures, relaxation and meditation to produce a balanced physical, mental and energetic body that can allow you become one with your true self and with the divine self.

This course is for beginners and anyone wishing to deepen their practice and will include:
– History of yoga
– Energetic anatomy (Chakras, nadis, aura, ..)
– Breathing techniques
– Basic asanas and proper alignment
– Relaxation
– Meditation
– Yogic lifestyle and diet
– Philosophy of Yoga

DATES:

The course starts on the 3rd of July and ends on the 26th (8 classes, 2hrs per class, One hour of theory and one hour of practice)

Classes will be taking place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm
