If you are a fitness maniac, then you probably heard of FitSquad. FitSquad launched three years ago, in June of 2014 to be exact, by three passionate athletes: Ahmed ElMenoufi, Omar AboShakra, and Karim Hamza
These three joined-forces and built this entity with one goal in mind, to show their passion for health and wellness by building a healthier community for those who want to change their lives. But how do they do this? They have created various customized programs to offer members exactly what they need to create their version of a healthy lifestyle, regardless of their fitness level.
The best thing about this squad of three is their determination; they have no limits and will never stop until YOU get there. They don’t believe in the word impossible.
Another great advantage of joining FitSquad is the community. Who wouldn’t want to be surrounded by fun, dedicated, and resilient people? We could all definitely use more of those.
Because of everything we just mentioned and more, the success FitSquad achieved at Smash Club (Katameya residence) was indubitable. And because good entities like FitSquad deserve to be experienced by everyone, they have just opened their doors at a new location, Platinum Club.
Platinum Club is destined to become the top sports getaway in the New Cairo region, given its prime location in the East Lotus area beside the American University in Cairo, 12km from the Ring Road and 6km from Al Rehab and Suez Road. In addition to the awesome location, they have 28 acres and every social and sports facilities there are to offer.
Currently, FitSquad offer Fundamentals introductory program for beginners, Grind, and Juniors sessions at Platinum Club, with more programs starting soon.
To kick start the collaboration between FitSquad and Platinum Club, they partnered with UNAIDS for what they call the ‘Sweat the Stigma competition’. The competition will be held on the 15th of December at 9 Am. The cause is to raise awareness for world AIDS day and the 11,000 Egyptians who live with HIV.
Anyone can enter the competition and win a grand prize of 4000 LE. All you have to do is outlast the competitors through 3 deadly endurance challenges. The last ones standing will qualify for round two. Whoever comes in second place will win 2500 LE, 3rd place will win 1500 L.E, and 4th to 8th place will win a 500 L.E Reebok voucher, and finally, the 9th to 18th places will win a 25% Reebok discount.
Keep in mind that competitors are limited to 100 participants. You will only be confirmed as a Competitor by paying and purchasing your ticket at one of the following venues:
– Smash Club, El Katameya Residence
– The Westin Cairo Golf Resort & Spa
