Egyptian athlete Nada Hafez revealed on Instagram that she was 7 months pregnant while competing in the Paris Olympics. She said ‘What appears to you as two players on the podium, they were actually three! It was me, my competitor, & my yet-to-come to our world, little baby!’ Nada reached the round of 16 in sabre, eliminating the seventh seed in the first round before exiting. We are proud of her, and Egypt is proud of her.
