“Evolve, be more than your body. Expand your mind and let your spirit soar. Dance and you will evolve.”

In 2017, Shadenda started training Pole Fitness and Aerial Hoop. For 5 years, it became her passion, this sport changed her life on many levels. In the end of 2018, she got certified as an Aerial instructor, then she started teaching Pole Fitness, Aerial Hoop and Flexibility classes.

“This sport helped me emotionally, physically and mentally. It taught me to love myself and body.”

Passion revolution

“It was fascinating what my body was able to do through this sport. It gave me more confidence to know that I can be strong and beautiful at the same time. This sport doesn’t require any fitness background and is not limited to an age, body size or fitness background. No matter who you are, or how old you are, you can practice it. Beside my morning job as graphic designer, I have been teaching for almost 3 years now and I truly believe that every day I change someone’s life just like how my  passion for this sport changed mine.”

The yellow studio; Empowering Femininity

“Last year I decided to open my own studio (The Yellow Studio), it a was dream of mine since I started training. I wanted to create a safe space where people can train, have fun and be themselves; creating a community for women to empower each other and express their femininity. Every day in the studio is a blessing for me, seeing women of all ages and backgrounds support, and cheer for, each other.”

A Challenging but Beautiful Journey

Shahenda Alaa Pole

“It’s delightful being part of women’s journey of realizing how strong and beautiful they are. Being told after a class, whether it’s pole, aerial hoop or flexibility, from a student that they never thought that they would be able to do a “trick” or a move. or that they didn’t think that they are strong enough to do it, makes it worth it all. Having a busy schedule (working 2 jobs) It was always a challenge to find time to work out until I have set times throughout the week to be committed, present to work out, and this helped me a lot.”

“Physical fitness is the first requisite of happiness.”
